Injector life o-rings estimates
So in my removal of CIS runners and during the install, I managed to cause some vacuum leaks at the injector o-rings. As the injectors pull out of the sleeve o-ring replacement (injectors) seems simple.
Sleeve o-rings will be more work. So I plan to just do the injector o-rings first. Then check vacuum state and go from there. Question on injector life for mechanics out there: would you recommend replacing injectors after 113000 miles? While Im in there replacing injector o-rings anyway... |

When I had mine out I just soaked them in Berrymans and reinstalled, unless you have an issue I would not replace. Alternately you could send them out for testing or you can test yourself by spraying into jars and measuring output. There is a procedure for this somewhere in the forum.

The o-rings definitely need to go. If you leave the injectors connected to the fuel lines, you can test them in the car (pulled out of the manifold and put in a clear jar) to see if they are holding necessary pressure when closed and have a good spray pattern when open. Those that don't can be reconditioned or replaced.
