Do you know how the rear was done? I've seen steel flares and steel whole rear quarters?

If your question was for me I'm not sure . The wide body conversion was done by the PO.

Steel rear flares, front FG fenders, hood and bumpers. Started out as a short hood.

TRE, that white/red Carrera is what I think I am aiming for... I am trying to figure out what the final parts list looks like... I figure:

930 Front fenders, not sure if there are other parts needed other than just the fenders.
I think the front suspension would need longer control arms.... not sure what else.

930 rear quarter or 930 rear flares, not sure which way is better...

Then some TRE front and rear wide IROC bumpers....

IMHO you don't need to modify the front suspension - just wheel widths and maybe spacers . . . same in the rear . . .

There are a lot of great wide body conversions posted here - excellent quality . . .

We did a race car - 78 SC - fiberglass front and rear - pic in Avatar and Garage . . .

Regards,

I think with all steel I would be looking at 10K before paint and wheels.

These stupid cars are so darn expensive... lol

Don't get me started on engine costs.... hahaha why didn't I go JDM.

It takes a special person to own a Porsche, crazy, but special.

Speaking from ignorance I assume lol.
I rally an fc rx7 and have a mint r32 Gtr for street.
The costs are no different.
Especially over a longer time period.

Black Betty

Lots of little details to finish .....going to Atlanta to pick up next week from a fresh build with lots of extra goodies to add 100 hp ..

9 and 11 flares butt welded .....tons of hours getting it thru paint . Has roller rims now should look much better with the new 9 and 11 x15 wrap in P7 or TBs and quality photos.
