Recommended fasteners for grill badges

I've did s bit of research and couldn't find much info around this, which might be because maybe this badge has the most basic fasteners out there (I'm assuming they built this for people to display at home and not on their cars).

I got a 70's anniversary Porsche grill badge and when looking at the fasteners provided they look like very easy to steal and / or to probably loosen up with vibrations. See below for pics of the badge and fasteners:

Being that I will need to remove the AC condenser to install this on my '88 911 I wanted to make sure I did it the right way the first time around. Any recommendations for fasteners that can be used here? I was hoping for some type of zip ties with "screw like" heads but couldn't find anything. If anyone has come up with some smart solution for this let me know.

Thanks!

M

Didn't think about that... but would it be possible to do it with the gap between where the badge sits vs where you have to grab to on the inside grill?

My deck and grill are off getting a stratton ducktail installed..sorry....just buy a small box of rivets as a test to ensure the shank is correct and the length goes through both the badge and the grill and leaves enough to pout a washer as an anchor

I have the same badge - no issues to date, maybe some thread lock would help?

Maybe I'm worrying more than I should then... so it didn't become loose at all? Did you use the same fasteners that came with the badge or replaced them? Being a simple flat face screw head I thought it was a bit too easy for anyone that thinks that they would appreciate more than I to make it their own

If you're worried about vibration or theft, just use nyloc nuts on those screws. They won't vibrate loose and unless the thief can get the decklid open, they won't be getting the nuts off.

I was lucky enough to get the same badge at the dealer during the nationwide celebration day. I have driven long road trips and it has not come loose. And I have SSI's and a Dansk, so it has a nice rumble.

Meet the Uni-Set fastener…
It is possible to have the best of both worlds in this case! The Prolok Uni-set fastener is a removable security fixing that still gives and extremely high level of security.

911SauCy: thanks for the feedback! Will look into those.

Heues: beautiful car color!

Kees: I couldn't find these type, but I think the previous solutions will work.

Thanks everyone for their contributions!
