Question Fuel pressure testing

Hi

I just ordered the CIS fuel pressure tester from JC Whitney and am looking for tips on how to measure the pressure from the WUR. My issue is with cold starts. As many have posted, the car does not want to start initially; it fires because of cold start I presume, then wants to die. With modulating the accelerator I am able to get it warm enough to run. Once warm, it runs fine. The car now has an adjustable WUR so I am interested in adjusting it so I have the correct pressure. I believe JW has posted it should be between 0.8 and 1.0 bar. Any insight on connecting the tester/how to measure pressures would be appreciated. The directions are pretty vague. P.S. I also have a Bosch book on the way. Thanks!

The directions that come with the CIS tester were pretty good. The tester slips in between the WUR and the fuel distributor. You then can measure system pressure, cold control pressure, and warm control pressure.

I think John Walkers specs were for a N/A car not a turbo. The pressures may be different, and the procedure may be different.

Does anyone have the pressure values for a turbo? Thanks!
