What would u pay for -69 2.0E engine? + what are the specs for it

There is this engine for sale in Finland that I might be interested in. Its a 2.0E -69 (901/09)

They say that it has 140HP as standard. Also it is said to have bigger valves than basic 911 engine, and 9.1:1 compression. Do these values sound normal?

How much HP would one get from this kind of engine with SSI and carbs?

Price is about 1300$

Zendalar;
Personally I wouldn't pay a cent -- but then I already have have a 2.0E that I love. :D As far as I know the 69E has the same size valves as the 69T, in fact the heads are the same. The valves are larger then some of the earlier 2.0 engines, but smaller then the S's. I don't think that SSI's will make a difference in the performance, and the carbs will take away 10 HP from the MFI. A popular update (if you can find an engine like this or make one) is to pop in a set of 2.0S pistons with the 9.8:1 CR. This fills in the low end torque a bit. For comparison, I drove a 3.2 Carrera and my car felt just as quick -- it just took a few more rev's which was fine with me. The 3.2's owner described my car as "frisky".

Here are some EBay deals that I've recorded:

Model....When....Price....Comments
2.0 from 69 E....11/25/01....$1,000.00....Claimed 36K miles, incl weber carbs, manifolds, etc.
2.0E from '69....1/2/03....$330.00....Dismantled. Heads and 2 cylinders removed. Pistons are siezed. Includes MFI.

The motor should have 140 bhp with 9.1 CR. I would have thought that was a fair price if it is complete especially the MFI pump. There is a complete 2.2E motor for sale at a dealer in the UK, "unkown condition" for £1500

Ah, thanks, guess I will not buy it then :)

This engine is without the auxillaries -> Bare engine, no carbs, starters...

I think I will start hauling whole cars from US (since they are cheap in there), and the cargo box for a car costs about 850$. Add 20% of toll, another 33% on top of that and 22% of tax over the 33% part...well, that much will a car cost if brought to Finland (IF the car is over 25 years old)........

2.2E from '71....3/11/02....$2,500.00....w/ 60 day warranty. Includes MFI
