Blacked out with gold hardware. I like it with the caps on, brings some extra color.

I had a set of custom center caps machined so I could use the original Porsche centers I have. It sits a little higher than I like, but I dont think you'll notice when they're on the car. The whole wheel will be done in black, like the set above.

Thanks for all the pictures folks. Keep em coming. These rides all look great. Someone on here said the BBS only look good on the 964 and I gotta say, I disagree. They look pretty right on these late 70s and 80s Gs.

Got my open lug nuts yesterday. Gonna put them on with the caps over the weekend and see how I feel about it.

I vote for leaving the caps off. Just not a big fan of the "waffle plate" in the middle and the fake centerlock nut.

I was actually thinking about having a set of centers machined to remove the extension in the center hub. By extension I mean the raised, internally threaded section that allows the center cap to screw in place. But once that extension is removed, obviously the centers can no longer accept the center caps.

Fairly certain that's where I'm at as well. But doesn't hurt to look. The lug nuts I bought are zinc plated, so I'm wondering if I should get them powder coated or refinished. Black doesn't look bad with the silver, but I'm not sold on it, but maybe some kind of satin silver finish would work.

If anyone has a set for sale let me know; looking for my SC. Prefer them not to be gold centered

Had a set of silver BBS on my Audi 20V turbo and they were light and beautiful but what a royal PITA to clean. I spent as much time cleaning the wheels as the whole car, but then I’m OCD when it comes to cleaning.
