Driven gear oil

Trying to get info on Driven gear oil.
G50 tranny no limited slip.
Driven gear oil options are...
75w-85
75w-90 limited slip
75w-110
75w-140
Which one would be best ?

Either of the first two are fine. If they are GL-5 rated and most people here seem to prefer synthetics but I'd say no issue with cold in LA. The limited slip version of gear oil has an additive for the LS function that's not needed on non-LS gearboxes (obviously LS gearboxes still have gears so of course).
Never heard of using the heavier weight oils on our cars.

I like the Driven lubrication products quite a bit. That said you may also want to investigate Amsoil who also make a gear lube designed for limited slip that also has an additive to protect synchros on vehicles with transaxles.

In a thread some weeks ago Bill V posted a chart with viscosity info on several different brands of synthetic gear oil for use in a G50. Very good info. The low temperature viscosity covered a big range, where the 100 degree C viscosities were all close to one another.

I do not have limited slip. The Driven gear oil 75w-90 is for a limited slip tranny. Can I still use it ?

Ok, did some searching and found some Gl-5 Driven Gear Oil 75w/90 without limited slip at Summit Racing. The Driven web site did not list this , nor does the LN Engineering site.
Got 4 qts ordered !
