Identify a crankshaft
What crank is this? Owner asked me to sell it but I don’t know what size it is. He was going to build a 2.4 but I don’t want to assume. Thanks!

Need pics of the flywheel end and pulley end. Looks like it has a burned rod journal. May be toast.

Yes, un-counterweighted T crank. FWIW, a lot of guys are running those in SS2.4s and SS2,5s with good success.

Is #3 rod journal toast? It looks awfully dark...
Yes, looks like non-CW 66mm crank.

If the rod journal is bad, is there any value to the crank. Selling for a friend who wants it gone.

Anyone looking for a crank is going to want measurements to know if it is in spec or not. Not as much value in damaged crank.
The tech junkie in me says to offset grind all the rod journals for smaller bearings, cross drill the crank, install custom rods with smaller big ends and then balance well enough to spin the crap out of it. These cranks have very low rotating mass in comparison to the CW version.
