Help finding a 911 colour - was in an old thread
Just got the paint sample back for Signal Orange and it is a little less bright than what I was hoping for. I really want an orange that will "pop" and be very, very bright...
I remember an old thread where a guy rebuilt a 911, great thread covering the whole build, and I believe it had the colour I am looking for. Can anyone help find the thread? Search ends at 25 pages and when I sort by views and such they truncate around mid-2017 and the build ended before then. Failing that, the pictures below have the colour I am seeking which may well be something other than Signal orange, so any help would be appreciated. I know there is more than one car shown, but mainly looking for the colour.... Thanks! Might be "Signal Yellow" - which is actually a slightly brighter Orange color than Signal Orange. "Light Yellow" is actually yellow.

Try searching Continental Orange.

Lot of threads here that discuss orange if you want to take a look. Heres just one: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/624042-help-me-choose-orange.html
If you'd like us to help you find a specific car build, it also would likely be good idea to give some more details of the vehicle in question such as wide/narrow body, long/short hood, stock/custom, engine, etc. A build thread about an orange car is a little lacking in identifiable specifics and pretty generic for you to get the results you want. |
