2.7 CIS wiring harness on 2.4 MFI?
What would be the ins and outs of adapting the CIS 2.7 engine harness to the MFI 2.4 engine? Is it more trouble than it's worth? Direct match? Easy re-wire? I'd love some feedback on this, I have a good lead on a harness.

Shouldn't be toodifficult, they are both MFIs so not too many sensors
Start off with a list of what they share, like ignition sysem, thermotime sitch, note psitions in the 14 pin plugs Then look for the things you don't need like aux air stuff. Can't think of anything that the MFI has extra over CSI electrically but I expect there is something. And draw some easy to read diags to work from! Jeff

the ignition, starter, backup switch, oil temp, oil light, oil pressure, alternator and regulator are all that you need from the 2.7 loom. (the cold start switch should be wired into the MFI loom). razor blade off the tape, extract the excess wiring, and retape. an additional loom can be made up to work the MFI system. get a color wiring diaghram and plot out what you need for the MFI loom.
