seeking source for a 996 PPI in Burbank, CA

I know it may be blasphemy but I am considering a 996 as a daily and need a good PPI source in Burbank. Any referrals are greatly appreciated.

fwiw, 37 year owner of many aircooled Porsches from a 914 in 1981 to the mexico blue 74 911 in Leffingwell's book (owned from 84-01) to a '60 B Roadster to several longhood 911s to an RS America. Still have the 73 911T that my father purchased new.

check with Marco at TLG in North Hollywood, all around good guy, and talented wrench on anything in your collection.

I feel like a lot of the guys who used to drive the early cars are migrating to 996, still very well connected cars, not too many nanny's to take away from the driving experience, visceral, powerful, fun....what's not to love.

(but it's not my cup of tea)

As a daily driver, and based on your SoCal weather, it seems to me to be a fine choice.

ProMotorSports used to claim only air-cooled work taken in (outside of oil changes). Let us know if that has changed. TLG also a good service source.

I tried calling TRE, Redline, and a couple of Porsche dealerships for a PPI on my 2003 996t last year and none of them were making the process convenient and actually made it sound like it was a hassle for them. I ended up going with Jae Lee at Mirage in San Diego. I am happy with mine so I would recommend Jae without reservation if you dont mind the drive.
