Need part # for 18mm front sway bar
I have the PET but for whatever reason it doesnt list all of the part numbers. Looking for the part # for 18mm thru the body style front sway bar. I believe they were used on 77/78 turbos. See my photos from Porsche parts manual below.
It is part #25. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1542067631.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1542067631.jpg |
I believe I found it 91134370500
But it seems like this is going to be a tough part to locate. |
It's the actual sway bar. Shouldn't be hard to find. There are reproductions made though I thought the turbo and RS was 19mm, not 18.
|
It was for 76-77 turbo, and it was 18mm. The lever arms are also different than the standard arms. Reinforced.
|
Good to know about arms. I am having a hard time finding these parts for my hot rod.
|
Now that you mention it, We had a 76 turbo in the shop for a complete restoration and it took some work to find one missing sway bar arm. You are right, it's a different size.
|
So I found the arms, but cannot find the bar. I have found 18mm through the body bars, but the ends are too small for these larger arms. Please pass along any leads you might have on one of these sway bars.
|
For those who need it, I found a 930 PET on the Tubrostition documents web page.
1975-1977 911T PET dated 21.08.2006 Porsche Classic is not listing the current version of this PET on their website. MyFlat6 you have the correct part number for the 18mm bar. |
^thanks! now i just need to find one of these sway bars!
