Looking for Porsche Tech. to install my engine and trans

Looking for Porsche 911 Tech. (Air Cooled) in Co Cal area to install my engine and trans and get the can running on a 69 911. Preferably in the San Gabriel Valley area. Pls PM or text me with details to: 626-716-4499.

On a tight budget, therefore looking for someone who's got a home shop and open to install my Engine and Trans

is the motor and gearbox sound? is it just a matter of reinstalling them? offer up pizza and beer and host a motor install party. pelican's have been known to do an amish style barn raising for beer and food.

It’s an incredibly straigh forward operation. If you’re on a tight budget, DIY

do you have a good, complete set of tools? tall jackstands? get a furniture dolly at harbor freight that the floorjack will fit under and post a thread soliciting some help. you do have to get the arse end pretty high in the air, but with some experienced help it's a half day at the most.

pizza and beer usually would get it done here in No cal.

Hi Pete,

If you can't find anybody to come to your house give the guys at Sleepers Speed Shop a call. They are reasonable and could have you up and running in a day probably. The owners name is Len.

Good luck!

Ryan

Keep bumping for a knowledgeable helper.

I do not see it a criminal offense to ask local indy shops for a name if you frame the request humbly. You never know. The right guy may know some guy.......
