911 early brakes
I am wondering, Are the early brake calipers ie the 70's better than the 320i bmw calipers? and what does it take to mount them to the early front suspension? Thanks in advance, thinking of which calipers i should use for 5 lug conversion (which i dont have right now but would be interested in a cheep front suspension) for my 914. Thanks again guys

I've owned many late-model BMW's, and have found their brakes to be better than average, but always to fall short of same-era Porsche brakes.
The 320i is not considered a "performance BMW chassis" (like an E30 or E36). I would imagine the brakes would also be below par. Without knowing much about early Porsche brakes, I'd still bet they are better than those off a 320i.

I ask this because i have 2 sets, that i was going to use for my 914, then i start thinking that maybe the 911's would be better, and since im going with 5 lug anyway...
