Hello - what intake do you have and what model/year is this in regards to?

sylvester 11-23-2018 01:13 PM

1979 coupe with a1980 cis engine. The guy I bought it from a few years ago rebuilt it, I don't know what he did but it's fast as hell. spools up fast, and very quick throttle response, almost like a motorcycle.

Well more power needs more air or more air will make more power, however you want to look at it. From your description it sounds like it should suck harder than your wife's stock motor.

No wareaglescott it's the other way around, it's sucking harder than my wife car. I think it has something to do with the Pistons, rings are something, Thanks anyway.

Ya that is exactly what I said. If the engine is making more power than your wifes car then there will be more air and fuel going through it. Sounds like just what would be expected.
