Corvette was 3rd, at 5.3 seconds 0-60.
78 911 turbo was tied for first place at 4.9 seconds... but what was it tied with??

yeah tied with nothing? There was no doubt about it, the turbo was in a class of it's own in the '70s.
And why did the 930 get two spots in the top 10? Was the 79 car that much slower than the 78? An 'umble SC sharing spots with a V12 e-type and a pre-malaise Pantera? They really were quick for their day. |
