How long for suspension to settle?

Just upgraded my suspension - new shocks and torsion bars - How long will it take the suspension to settle? I noticed over the first 48 hours it settled quite a bit - each corner different? How long should I wait until I get it aligned?

if original stock rubber bushings.. go for a drive that rocks the suspension up and down.. if new hard bushings, drive around the block.. 3/4 tank of gas, drivers weight in seat[weight belts, dumb bells, etc]. on a flat surface.. rock side to side at front and rear bumpers/medium strength then slow up gently.. use a yardstick w/ small level held to stick.. measure to fender... not an expert
