Reinstall Front Sway bars..Can't find thread with tips

guys,
I'm starting the front end rebuild this weekend and I remember reading a thread on re-installing the sway bars. It had some great tips on how to get it on without too much trouble. I just can't seem to find the thread.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Dave

There's another one

Dickster,
Thanks but that isn't the thread. The one I remember explained how to position things to get the sway bar lined up easily....someone spent HOURs trying to do it and with this hint, it went right in.

Talk to you later...and great news about the car.

Funny. When I replaced tierods & balljoints a few weeks back I removed & reinstalled the sway bar. It just came right off & then I remember installation just a matter of sliding end into the A-arm mount, then coaxing the other end in (not very hard!)

Maybe my bar's a little old & flexy though?

When I replaced my sway bar bushings, I just removed the torsion bar on one side to gain the angle necessary to slide the sway bar into the a-arm. Only took about 15 extra minutes.
