Dunlop Direzza ZIII
Is anyone running the Dunlop Direzza ZIII on their 911?
I have some Z1s on the car now that I like but they are ready for replacement. The ZIII looks very similar but I haven’t seen any reviews so I’m looking for some feedback if anyone is running them. My car is driven mostly on the street/canyons on dry days so dry drip is my main concern. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anecdotal, but from what I've seen they're very good. Ever so slightly below the ultimate grip of the class leading RE-71R and Rival S. Unfortunately, I don't know enough to give more specifics such as sidewall stiffness, etc.
When they first came out, they were priced way over those two tires, so very few people jumped on them. The prices have since come down.

I've had them on my car for a few years. They tend to run a bit larger than other tires of their size, which give them a meaty look, and they do have impressive turn in and overall grip. Overall, I've been very happy with them.

If you've had them for a few years, that's the ZII or maybe the ZII star spec. The ZIII came out this year.

I have the ZII, sorry. I previously had ZI Star Specs on my Evo and did multiple track events with them and loved them.

![]() Put ZIII on before the Targa Carolina. The tires were great, sticky on some very tight and curvy roads down there. Drove the car home in pretty bad weather, grip was good. Overall ZIII handled everything on the 1200+ mile trip So far Highly recommended. |

Have driven other folks cars that had the ZII and the ZIII. I like them and very similar to Yoko AD08, Hankook RS-4, Bridgestone RE-11. All very good summer tires a step down in grip but longer life than the RE-71.

![]() Not a 911 but I have about 7-800 miles on a set. They have tons of grip and are better in the wet than the previous ZIIs that I ran on a different 914. |
