TWIN PLUG ignition specs

How much timing are you gents dialing in at WOT at lower rpm ranges, and what amount of total timing has been working for you?

I have an analogue twin plug engine here, so no EFI programmability. Pretty hot Elgin cam in this thing with 10.4:1 static cpr on carbs. Drives pretty well. I'm seeing 25-26 degrees total is being dialed in by 4k rpm, with about 20 degrees as early as 2000rpm. Seems a bit extreme at the low end. Wondering what seems to be working for everyone else, maybe I'm too conservative at the low end. Total timing seems about right, anyone pushing any more than 26 degrees on 93 octane?

28 degs on mine as per Mike Bruns when he helped me build mine. 3.0L, twin plug, 9.5:1 cr, webers and sis

Looking through some very old threads I'm seeing a lot of places are dialing all the timing in by 3500rpm, so 20 or so at 2000rpm is looking ok in an aggressive setup.
