I still say the original OP is wasting his time trying to do a "quick fix" on this car that has sat in one of the hottest cities on the planet (yes, I did live there and went to college there) - so you had better 1) Check ALL the head studs, 2) Pull the engine and do it right, because all the lines are now almost forty years old, and 3) The stuck fuel dizzy is unfortunately the tip of the iceberg. There are no quick fixes for cars that sit in heat and have sat and are that old - especially with that mileage unless there has been work done.
