Removing door glass

I’m stripping my 1970T down for a respray ,I’ve taken the window frames out and the trim ,I need to take the window mechanism out but obviously it won’t come out with the glass in,how do I get the glass out of the mechanism while it’s still in the door

The glass (9) is pressed into a U-shaped rubber strip (10) that is glued into the U-shaped metal base (11).
