1972 911T charcoal canister question

Hi folks,
I have been working on this 72 911T and there is a hose missing off the charcoal canister (see photo).
I have some hose that fits, but I am not sure where the other end goes?

Thanks

The hose (16) goes to the top of the overflow tank (3) in the front passenger fender. Many times the tank in the fender is old and cracked. Some have adapted newer ones to fit. Your charcoal canister is a later replacement for the original metal one.

It runs to the vapor canister behind the left headlight bucket.

Thanks for the feedback.
I have attached a picture of the end of the canister and it is obviously not original. That would also explain why the rubber strap doesn’t hold the canister in place very well.

I looked behind the left headlight bucket and there is a bracket there but the vapour canister is gone. I will have to buy one.

Thanks again.

It can be difficult to find the original parts. Here are a couple of photos.
