Fnally caught a break!+ ceramic coating headers

I posted a few days ago that I had lost an ebay auction on a euro exhaust system for my 930 and was buying a new GHL setup out of frustration. Well, dont take this wrong Wayne but I was ordering it from another place as they had an internet advertised sale on the headers which was very attractive. Well turns out the price on the internet was a glitch and were no longer on sale. While sorting this out with them I received an e-mail from the seller on the auction that the buyer from the auction had backed out and I got the system for $400. Just closed the deal! I know,I have heard of these going for less, but this one looks really nice and I am not going to quibble over a few bucks. Anyway I am going to send them out for blasting and ceramic coating as soon as I get them, unless you guys tell me it's a bad idea. The ceramic coating seems to me to be a great idea on the factory systems, but hey I've been proven wrong so many times by this board I feel like a glutten for punishment. Any thought on jet-hot etc.. thanks again guys.

LD,

I'm not familar with ceramic coating, but I know the Jet-Hot is an excellent way to go. Alot of track cars have there exhausts done this way.

My two cents (CDN)

RLJ uses a firm in the NW he likes...he claims a great job for much less than jet-hot. You might PM him for an opinion...oh, his first name is Randy...

I'm not certain there is any benefit to ceramic coating of the headers. PAG did the exhaust ports -- they get much much hotter.
