Holy smokes....
What about a Dremel “multi tool” to cut that bugger out of there (a little more surgical than a “saws all”).

Upon further inspection believe its just heavily corroded and there a seam in the cluster.
Been leaking a long time. Searched the forums on master cylinder replacement seem the hardest part is re-seating the supply lines into the two rubber seals on on top on the MC. Got the new/used fuel sender in today!! Nice to have a fuel gauge when your odometer is not functioning. Received a new Ignitor Electronic Ignition Module going to try that in a spare 76 dizzy as the 74 is running on points and a condenser no CDI. She's a project. ![]() |
