Excited...wheels and tires

Sorry guys, not a super useful post.
Just excited about the fact that Harvey is in the process of refinishing my factory 16's and I'm putting a set of new Continental Extreme Contact Sports on once they're done.
After that it goes to Tom Amon for small ride height adjustment and new spring plate bushings. Should look and ride like a new car after all that.
I would normally do the ride heigh adjustment and new bushings myself, but don't have the time due to family concerns right now.
I'll post pics once complete in a couple months.

New wheels are an awesome reason to get excited.....I bought some 11's and & 7.5's in RSR finish from Rota for my wide body.

Currently stacked in their boxes in my office, gorgeous. In April my car will go through a complete suspension renewal. They'll be installed with new tires

Shoot us a picture when you get them installed !

I know the feeling. I just got these and a Duracell AGM battery ready to go.

Problem is almost 2' of snow and single digits.

Needed to get them to break the winter blues and get excited.

Oil change and these installed I'll be ready to go.

Love that smell of new rubber.

Weidman is the best and he has done two sets of wheels for me. The first set took 8 months (RSR finish) and the second set (painted centers) took 6 months. It doesn't take him that long once he begins, but over the years he's always had a long waiting list. What's his lead time these days?

Yup...he’s the man. Gave me a great 2 hr tour of his whole shop when I dropped them off. Since my wheels are standard 16 X 6s and 7s with factory finish the lead time is only 4-5 weeks. Harvey should write a book on Fuchs and Porsche wheels in general...he likely has more knowledge in this area than anyone on the planet.
