Part number / description for this vacuum hose/line?
Some cracks in this vacuum hose... need some help identifying the replacement part number, as I cannot find it at our host (maybe an official name/description would help..?)

True but look at the other pictures. It shows the brass/copper line bending where the rubber hose is.
the op can message pelican to make sure. I personally wouldn't pay that price. I just put self-sealing hose tape around the hose after determining that the cracks were only on the outside. The op's picture also shows a misalignment between the plastic "V" and the hose. That should be adjusted. |
The correct part number is 930-110-328-03.
An easy fix would be to cut off the hose crimp, replace the hose and use a hose clamp instead of the crimp fitting. |
Thanks Harold - what I was looking for, and given a $246 price for $3.50 worth of copper and rubber, I agree - this will get a workbench fix for less than the $3.50 in material cost.

:)
For those who may want a correct repair w a crimp, I have re-hosed these in the past. I am backed up w work but hope to get caught up by the end of the month. Is this optimistic? Unless of course we get hit w another big snowstorm. Please, emails ONLY. Len dot Cummings at verizon dot net :) |
