Spring plate/torsion bar
I'm having a hell of a time seperating a spring plate from a torsion bar.I've soaked it with Releasall and beat it with a hammer
but no luck.Any helpful hints?? The weather's getting warmer and I'm itching to get the rear suspension back together.... Thanks Mike |

buy a cheap c-clamp the will fit and cut the dumb end off.
you could shim the spring plate with wood and whack it though the torsion hole. pb blaster works good . others have suggest kroil. better living through chemistry and BFHs.
