sun visor fix needed

My visors (77 Targa) arent droopy and appear in good shape..but they seem "loose" and dont stay in the closed position well...what can I do to "tighten" them up?

thanks

There should be a screw in the visor near where the fixed end right angles into the windshield frame. Tighten that up

No Screw found in the visor, only in the mounting plates, looks like its just the prong that goes into the visor. I wonder if I could shift the mounts a bit to get a "tighter" fit..otherwise pull apart and add some dimension to the prong itself or inside the visor hole

any other ideas out there?

Below is thread on my refurbishing of my 80SC passengers side visor and it has the tension screw. Your only option without the screw would be to add a screw to the mounting bracket that could add tension to the bar or add thickness to the bar going into the mounting bracket.
