SCWDP in the Mediterranean
I finally have a chance to log onto Pelican and wanted to say Hi to all of you. I’m currently on the island of Crete. I just saw Todd’s (“Face”) thread and I feel for you guys in the desert, spent some time in a tent myself. Our living conditions are pretty good considering, no tents or beer rations. My wife Kristy is also deployed here with me so that doesn’t leave me anything to complain about. We’ve done worse and we’ll make it better. Things are pretty slow as we wait for things to kick off and start flying 24/7, everything is uncertain at this point.
My engine plans for a 3.6 are still on for this year as long as I make home before the end of the year. I can’t wait to get this over and done with so we can start planning Big Bear Run III. I look forward to seeing and talking to you guys regularly again. Keep out troops on the sharp end in your thoughts and prayers.

Ryan, glad to hear everything is going well as it can.
Crete, isn't that a vacation resort area? LOL Black Bird is ready for your test drive. I have to caution you, it is scary fast compared to where it was. If you are on the fence re 3.6 conversion, one ride will have you convinced. If you need anything for you P-car fix, let me know. I have your snail mail. And thank you.

Is there anyway you could ship Black Bird out to me for that test drive Paul? It is a resort area, bring Sherry along. LOL
I can't wait to get that ride. I really miss driving the car. I don't think there is one 911 on this island. How could they send us to such a primitive place? LOL If you have any old copies of Excellence lying around I would love to catch up and feel apart of the Porsche world again. Thanks Paul.
