Red rear seat lock tab when was it started
When did Porsche Porsche start using the red rear seat lock tabs to keep the back seats in a upright position? I was looking at a Stoddard catalog and it had them from 1976-1988? Am i missing something---I have a stock 85-911 and the seats use leather straps to keep the seat backs in the upright position

Hi 69porsche- Petra's production date was 12 May 86 and she does have the red pull knobs. I have a copy of the 1986 911 Dealer Brochure, and it shows the rear seats with the leather straps. Considering the brochures would have used early production '86 vehicles for photography, it's probably safe to assume the change took place in mid-1986?
