Fuel Injector Question
I was under the hood today and noticed that I can move my fuel injectors up, down, and side to side by about an 8th of an inch.
Is this right? |

cis injectors are held by o-rings. yours might have aged and need replacing. do a search on injector removal. (vw rabbits had a threaded plug that holds the injector and o-ring. checkum while you are in there)

So they should be snug with no movement?
Funny thing is all of them are loose like that! |

Simon,
They *do* have a bit of movement, even when the o-rings that retain them are new. To check if they are leaking, spray a little brake cleaning fluid around where the injector plugs into the intake runner (engine running). If the engine rpm changes, the o-rings may be dried up, allowing air to leak in.
