Color of speedo sensor wires in the tunnel?
 

Hi peeps. 77 911. i searched all the speedo threads but no clear answer.

are both wires BRN-RED and does polarity matter at the guage?

seems that one wire goes to ground on speedo, and the other goes to another pin.

(then its just another ground plus a 12v pin on back of speedo)

any help is welcomed

It makes no difference, the sensor has no polarity. The speedo sensor is just a magnetic switch.
