Different oil drip pans

Hi gents
I have found two different types of oil drip pans, and also found two different item numbers 930 107 001 07 and 930 107 004 01. Looking into google, my confusion is total when I see that both are from 1975 to 1977 and from 1978 to 1988.

On the picture you see the two different oil drip pans, let us call it "the straight one" and "the angled one".
If anybody can tell me the difference, I will appreciate it very much. Thank you.

The straight one was like on my 76 and friends 77. Thermal reactor cars where scavenge oil line comes around the trans
The right one is off all later models where the scavenge oil pipe comes around the back of the motor, both kidney and oil line have matching curves.
