I have 8 small boxes of Excellence, Panorama, 911 and Porsche World magazines for free to anyone in the SF Bay Area or Sac. I don’t want to ship them so you’d have to pick them up from me. These are magazines from 2003 until 2009, I believe. If you want them, PM me.

I also have quite a few 911 air cooled parts to sell so I’ll be posting those up when I have a chance.

Hi Greg, I was trying to find a 1982-1985 Excellence magazine with a small advertisement in the back for ”Troutman” aluminum slopenose fenders with 928 headlights.
I had these fenders installed back in the early 80’s and I’m trying to document all the modifications to my car.
I live in the Bay Area and would be willing to buy it from you if you happened to have one.

I've got a remote cabin in the mountains with no tv. This is some great reading material for my little get away but after perusing selected articles I will not be throwing these magazines out. I'll be passing them on to other enthusiasts.

I posted a bunch on craigslist for free a few months ago.

And now I just leave Pano and Excellence in places where people wait. Maybe I'll start holding on to them again and post here for free pickup.

Gary, I probably have those (I have Excellence #1 thru around 1995). I don't want to sell them, but if you just want a copy I can scan it.

Pretty sure that Excellence was not around until about 1987 or 1988. I have some early ones and I will check.

Perhaps there was such an ad in the PCA magazine Panorama. I will look, but my Pano collection did not start until about '87.

That had occurred to me. I first subscribed around 1993, but at one point I bought a bunch of back-issues from someone.

Wikipedia says issue #1 (which was actually called Porsche Magazine) was in 1986.
