COA for European Market Car
My 1973 911T Targa was produced for the European market and then shipped to the US at a later date. I contacted Porsche North America to get a Porsche Product Specification certificate (formerly, Certificate of Authenticity), but they told me they don't cover vehicles that were intended for markets outside of North America.
Is there a similar certificate for European model 911s? And whom do I contact? Google searches are not producing any fruit. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you contact Porsche?
Or did you contact the Porsche club? (PCA)

Coinciding with the recent change from CoA to PPS name, the form you fill out now clearly states it is for US models only. Not sure how one gets that info for RoW cars now.

I contacted Porsche North America, which is where PCA directs us to send our COA requests. That's who told me no ROW cars.
I sent an email to PCA today to get clarification. I'll post their reply. My next step is to contact the factory for advice. I'll post that as well.

@ Nathanbs
Did you get the new version called Porsche Product Specification, or the previous incarnation called the Certificate of Authenticity (CoA)? CoA's are no longer available.

Thanks for all the info
Product specification sound over general and less liable prone than certifying authenticity Interesting Ive got a couple of cars that I was planning on getting paperwork for as well

Reply from PCA:
Thank you for contacting PCA National Office! I spoke with Vu, and unfortunately he is not aware of any way to get a PPS for a European Market car. He said that your best bet for finding information would be a Porsche VIN decoder online, but that would not give you a certificate. I’m sorry that I don’t have more information for you, please let me know if there is anything else that I can assist you with. Have a great day!
