IROC Front Bumper install

Can someone please tell me if you have to buy a kit to replace front bumper shocks to install front IROC Bumper. I have a TRE IROC Front bumper with the studs molded in. I cant figure how it mounts. Help!

I bought my IROC bumper used, it didn’t have any mount points or tabs.

I am however making a custom impact bar to go behind the IROC bumper, and I’m machining my own custom mounts to replace the bumper shocks. I’m going to have to epoxy aluminum brackets to the back of the IROC bumper to bolt to the impact bar I’m making.

I haven’t seen the inside of any IROC besides mine, but I suspect everyone makes Their own mounting brackets.

Thanks Dave with your response. I will check out the brackets you sell.

dave, a couple questions regarding your mounting brackets which ive used and aid greatly in bumper mounting. are your units front and rear specific? do you sell them seperatly from bumpers?

I see you have an ahp tig how do you like it ??

The AHP Alpha TIG, I think it's a good machine, probably the best bang for the buck out there.

If I were to buy it again, I think I'd probably shell out the extra cash for an Everlast because it has better controls, for the more advanced features like pre-flow, post-flow, all that stuff. But for a basic TIG, I don't think you can beat the AHP.

Arc stability, performance (for the same settings) is indistinguishable from a Miller Dynasty.

Couple complaints I have about it are the pedal sucks, torch isn't great, and the calibration of the pulse dials isn't correct. It has analog pulse dials, and what it actually pulses at (timed it with a stop watch) doesn't exactly match what's printed on the dial.
