Quite a transformation! Did you do it all yourself? I'm certainly looking for an alternative to a $5000 paint job. Do you mind if I ask how much you spent on the transformation and what it included?

Thumbs up Very nice, Bill.

There are a few of us Down Under that will relate to the "yellow" - goes well with Porsche. What yellow is it?
Do you think you'll lower the ride a bit now?

Gees, I like that 68 912! What's the storey in those pics? Colour BRG?

Well Brawlins,no, I didnt do it myself. Both Pcars on that page where my fathers. He past away on oct 8th, so I became the new pilot. The 68 was one that he had in hawaii from 72 and got rid of it here in vegas in 84 I think. The 911 is what took its place, (In one of the 912 picks, you can see the tail end of the 911). That paint job was $1676.69 . And is you look at the first pics, then look at the last pics, you can see the transformation. There was alot.

Ya Sean, looks great. Im not sure of the type of yelllow, but I can find out. I should lower this girl?? The rear tires on it now rub when hooking a corner . These are old pics, so maybe dad lowered it later, Ill take pics this weekend after I clean it, and we can compare.

The story of those pics are.,.,.,my dad, lol. I have pics of all his cars, jags, austin healys, mg`s, pcar etc.He did that. The 912 was bought in Hawaii when we lived there, year bought, I dont remember. He kept it till 84 or something here in vegas (which makes me think, I wonder if its still on the road, and if its here on this site??????). But dad wanted a older, faster Pcar, so he picked up the 911, and you saw the progress it wen threw. It still looks the same, execpt for the piss poor **** paint job that was done on it. And yes, the color is the true German Racing Green. That was a must to him. It was always that color, I beileve.

Bill,
Don't know why? All I did was go to your website, clicked on the image to enlarge it, then right-clicked to Save onto my PC. Went back to the thread and opened "post reply" (not quick reply), at the bottom of that is blue lettering underlined says "Attach Multiple". Click it and then click "browse" button, browse to your saved file and then upload. Worked????
If the file name already exists, just click browse, go to the file and right-click "rename file" and +/- something to change the name of the file.
Hope you get it.

Bill, Nice! Your dad would be proud of you.

Looks like you have 7" Fuchs all around. I have 7's in the rear, and they rub just at the top. I'm going to roll the lips next week. Eventually, SC/Carrera flares will be welded on.

Now ask the guys how to role the lips or do a search....got to go to bed or my lady won't let me in the room at all.
