Brake line grommets
On my pre booster 76, I am replacing the master cylinder. I have the master cylinder and the 2 reservoir lines back in but the 2 grommets that seal the res lines are dried and cracked. I would like replace them later-is there a good way to do that without taking everything back out? I dont want to leave them out-that would create a perfect mouse pathway and a drafty toe area. Thanks in advance.

Generally, no. It is very difficult to get the two res. lines seated into the top of the master when the master is installed. When installing your tile of master the first thing is the two res. pipes. You have to wiggle the master to get the res. pipes seated fully. Then you bolt up and break line the master.

you could try splitting the grommets, slip them over the pipe and work into place.
