When installing anything with glue, I usually start with all my fingers and then the dog, I hate glue...

I used 3M #08008 Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive to install my rear Targa Bar seal several years ago. It seemed perfectly suited to the job.

Wear vinyl gloves and have some solvent ready while installing. The proper way is to lightly coat both surfaces clean the excess let them dry then install like contact cement.

I used the same stuff sky1jord used. Word of advice, dry fit, mark and then glue and install. This stuff grabs pretty fast.
