911 mystery
Hello all,I am a new user.I have a 1977 911 which I have had for 12 years and in all
that time t has never missed a beat. However, lately it has found a strange trick to play. It won't start due to fuel pressure not building up-unless-the fuel line banjo on top of the wur is loosened and a few drops of fuel released and then when it is retightened pressure builds up and we are up and away .Air lock perhaps? It only does it if she has been standing a couple of weeks. Peter from the UK |

Maybe someone has a better idea but I would check the fuel pump check valve at the tank. Its a messy job but you can change the fuel line at the same time. The accumulator only makes it hard to start when hot so i dont think thats the problem.
