The problem is it has no spark, I know this is a normal question but everywhere I look for help it talks about the cdi ! My engine has no cdi installed, it’s should be strat forward you would think! Coil, distribrater and sparkplugs! Well I changed the coil the points the condenser! Still no spark! I have power going into the coil on the + poll, I have spark at the points when I open them with a screwdriver, but no spark at the plugs! Please help I am super excited to take this girl out!!!

Sounds as if your points need to be checked for a gap, they might not be opening.

I had a nice '73 T. You're a lucky man.

Ok after going over what had been done I noticed the points not opening! They are new and faulty as the plastic tip that opens and closes the pounds was broken! Ran to the shop got some new ones and I now have spark again!!!! Still not firing so I’m doing the timing now as I know the dizzy was out! Cross fingers! And tips on setting up the timing would be much appreciated

Below is timing for 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1976. All should be the same. You can set "Static timing" before starting the engine.

A common error is to get the distributor "180 deg out". That is, the crankshaft points to TDC (Z1) twice for a single rotation of the distributor. To ensure that you are on the correct TDC, remove the upper left hand valve cover, and make sure that the intake rocker for cylinder #1 is loose. If you are on TDC where #4 should be firing (180 deg out), the intake rocker for #1 will already be starting to open the valve, and the rocker will be tight.

If you have no cdi that could be the issue..... EDIT Ooops. I see you have spark. Never mind.

AS stated, if you are running a basic coil and points, the car will run, but you will not get a good spark to run well. The original coil, points, condenser, spark plugs were designed to work with the CDI box. To get good performance, you will need to run the original CDI, or a good aftermarket ignition.
MSD setups seem to be an option to the original CDI, as well as Street Fire.
