thanks.. it was a good day, the rain held off just long enough for us to get in the whole run. The only hitch was a loose wheel bearing on Rich's car (the yellow early targa) but 5 minutes later that was all fixed.

there are now small images for those that are bandwith challenged

Very nice Carrera!

Rich, how many people does it take to tighten a wheel bearing?

We don't have anything scheduled yet. With AutoFair and Hershey in April it may be May unless we do a spur-of-the-moment ride.

I can't believe you guys put that picture up. Didn't you have a more flattering angle? Seriously, we are still grinning from our high speed chase of Tom through the mountains of NC, especially that session after I tightened the bearing. Great planning and a great route. My wife said that I have to get a roll cage and harnesses before our next trip. Go ahead, twist my arm...

Tom,

I'm sure you saw how tempted I was but after this weekend, I wouldn't trade anything for my 911 (and I would have to get rid of it to make the deal according to my wife). Good luck with your sale and give us a call if you are in the area.

Where the heck were you guyz...

I didn't think there was a place in the USA where you could still buy gas for $1.62 & $1.70..

The Targa's (all 3) really are very nice. BTW,Thom very cool sport exhaust. Did you have your local muffler shop make that for you or was it purchased as is ??

Man

Man, I am sorry I missed it. I thought about you guys while I was driving to Alabama, and it looks like you went to Woodlands BBQ as well. With a little bit of luck if one is scheduled for May I will make it, the Ugly Duckling is headed to the paint shop in a couple weeks. I hope to have it all put back together by May.

Hey, the maroon slantnose... Does that belong to Kevin, formerly of Chicago area?

hal should remember the guys name.. I was too enthralled at the slantnose.

It's a factory slantnose with 11,000 miles on it. ALL but 2500 are track miles. It's basicly a street legal racecar.
