Sporto bridging switch 76 911

Any tips on replacing a bridging switch on a 3 speed sporto box?

What problem are you experiencing that you think you need to replace the bridging switch 905.613.101.02? I would think that you could just remove the old one and replace with a new one. May loose a little trans fluid. PET does not show a washer.

I seem to recall an older thread discussing #20, the pin. You need the exact length and can use a drill bit cut to length for a replacement. This would be quite an old thread and I may not even be thinking of the correct part.
