Should I restore my gas tank, or buy a new one?

...or look for a nice, gently-used tank from one of the many recyclers that are on the forum...

Louis,

I'm going through this with my 68 as well.

I've tried cleaning it but still rusty. Called some local radiator shops too. It's cheaper just to buy a new tank.

I just ordered a new tank.
Regards,
Lou

What's wrong with it? Cleaning and treating the inside is easy.
