Exhaust Fab in the SF Bay Area?
I want to add stainless steel dual outlets to a stock Carrera muffler I've bought. I'm not a welder myself. Can anyone recommend a shop in the SF Bay Area to do this? East Bay is best for me, but anywhere I can drive in an hour is cool.
The muffler I have is from a 3.2 Carrera which was involved in a wreck -- the stock tip has been bent. So I'd like to cut that off, cut a smallish hole (start at 1 inch, to balance outflow) out of the right side, and add new matching stainless steel tips to both sides. I don't know what size tips I'd like just yet, only that they should be bigger than stock. The shop should be able to fab these tips up for me and make it all work cosmetically. Ideally it would be a place that knows (& respects!) Porsches. Thanks in advance,

Paul at German Motorsport in Fremont can probably do this for you.
His labor rates are higher than Midas muffler though. Tom |
