Injector ID please

These are off CIS motors, and my guess would be 2.7, although there are no numbers or markings anywhere. Can someone please confirm application?

MFI...? Pretty sure not.

I have a lot of MFI injectors and the spray nozzle is on the end of the tip. These have four small holes/slots on the side of the tip, but nothing in the tip itself.

Speedo,

The fuel injector you have in the picture is not from a 911 CIS motor. It might have come from a CIS motor but definitely not a 911.

Ah ha! Hadn't thought of that. Nice job "Watson"
I never would have guessed. I wondered why I still have a bunch of these. We (fortunately) don't have that problem out here in CO. Does CA (and any other states) still require smog injection pumps?

air injector

Color me confused...
What is too long, the head or the injector?
You say the injector won't fit because it is too long...then you say the correct injector is about a 1/2" longer. I have been "schooled" that all the nozzles are the same, 2.7 3.0 sc, 3.o turbo, 3.3 turbo even the C2 turbos and the 94 3.6 turbo use the same nozzle.
So I am obviously confused. Thankful for the education, but confused none-the-less.

Speedo,

I did delete my post and will repost when I find the air injector. Did not see you responded to my post.

CIS air injector.........

Speedo,

911-113-145-02 is the part number of the CIS air injector you posted. And the common air injector used in 911. The air injectors that I’ve been saving and taken off from an SC motor were “bastardized”. Closer inspection revealed they were trimmed or cut shorter by someone prior to my possession.

The above injectors are similar to the one you posted except they were shortened for unknown reason. And that lead me to the wrong conclusion.

Like i said in response to the PM you sent there is only one nozzle across the entire range of 911's / 930's that use air injection systems.

I too was wondering why tony would comment that it was not for a 911 until i saw the nozzles he was using for reference.

Thanks to both of you guys.
No animosity...just a willingness to help. I appreciate it very much.
All the crap that goes on in the world today...and I just asked for a little help, and got it without issue. When in Denver/Boulder, I owe you guys a beer.
Thank you!
