early carpet sets
 

I have a '70 911t coupe. I need to get a carpet set for it. I put up a wanted add on the 911 parts board, and someone responded saying he had carpets for a '69 targa. Will this carpet set work? Or is a targa set different from a coupe set? Thanks.

I too am in the carpet market. but I'm in it 2x! I need carpet for a 72 targa and a 71 coupe. as far as I can see there IS a difference. so much for my plan to buy ONE carpet kit and then cut one myself from the template.

I've found numerouse vendors w/ great variation in price and what the kits include.

my head is spinning from all the info I have gathered recently.


fwiw, appbiz on ebay sells a cheap perlon kit that looks nice. but he does not have one for targa!!! I am hoping for burgundy carpet for teh coupe so I have not bid on his coupe carpet.
