Wiring Harness differences among 3.2's
Guys,
On the prowl for wiring harness for my '84 3.2 that is going in a '77(backdated) with '77 gauges. Will any 3.2 harness work or are there meaningful changes across the years and part numbers? i.e. 91161200220 (1989) vs 91161200132 (1985). Thanks.

Based upon caveman research, the ‘84 is the most spartan, no rear fog light harness. The rest appear to be the same, with few differences. All the Carrera harnesses have the basics.

I guess you’re about the DME harness
I never had a problem getting any of them to work. The 87/89 use a different DME prom than 84/86 but, there is no extra sensor wiring for it All dash wiring is in the chassis harness except the tach. That’s jumped under the front hood off the DME harness. Bruce |
