Rotor wear limit

I will be replacing my brake pads all around in the next week or so. I also measured my rotors to see how they were doing. The specs indicate 24mm new with a replacement thickness of 22mm. I measured 23mm on the front and almost new on the rear so I'm within tolerances. There is no surface area grooving or pulsing or other weirdness in the driving characteristics. However, there is a small ridge at the edge of the front rotors where it hasn't been worn. Will that be an issue at all if I just install my new pads or are new rotors advisable?

This car gets spirited street use with no track miles.

This is a well-formed question, complete with relevant data. The answer is: Trust the engineers who wrote the specifications. Your rotors are perfectly serviceable.

It should be fine. usually the rust builds up there and sometimes it can cause problems then I grind it off but if its just a little itll be fine. Its a good idea to rough up the rotors a little with sandpaper to break the glaze and help the new pads bed in and prevent squeeling
